Sarah Maxfield
Chief Executive

Sarah joined Oxford Inspires in 2006 and is responsible for all aspects of the organisation's leadership and management. She has a background in arts planning and development in local government, with Arts Council England and as a freelance consultant. She was Director of Arts, later Deputy Chief Executive, of Southern Arts Board from 1996 to 2002 and was most recently Head of Cultural Development for Kent County Council.

Kathelene Weiss
Director of Marketing and Development

Kathelene is responsible for strategic planning and management of Oxford Inspires’ fundraising, marketing and communications programmes, developing positive relationships with the private sector and promoting positive perceptions of Oxford Inspires’ from stakeholders and partners, cultural organisations and, through the media, from the general public. Her background in fundraising and special events includes working as Development Officer, Annual Giving, for the McNay Art Museum in San Antonio, Texas, and as Special Events Coordinator for the San Antonio Museum of Art and in corporate sales and events management.

Jacqui Ibbotson
Programme Manager

Jacqui is responsible for providing advice and support to arts organisations, widening participation in learning and cultural activities and strengthening partnerships between organisations and schools in the county. Jacqui worked for the English National Opera and the Royal Shakespeare Company before becoming Producer of The Bridewell Theatre in London in 1995. Most recently she has been Director of Camberwell Arts Festival which specialises in Visual and Community Arts.

Lisa Makros
Programme Assistant

Lisa is our Administrator Extraordinaire who ensures that our events and promotional programmes run smoothly. She manages our daily administrative needs, including meetings & special event planning, Sarah's diary, mailings and enquiries. Her background includes theatre, higher education and academic publishing; she joins us from Oxford University Press.

Terry Winter
Financial Administrator
Terry is responsible for accounting and financial administration two afternoons a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays).
