New corporate member comes on board—and
online
Monday 19 April, 2006
Oxford Inspires is delighted
to announce that the publishing and IT company Update
Software has become a corporate member of Oxford Inspires. The company
designed and built the website for Evolving
City, which carried full listings information on the programme's wide
range of cultural events during 2005.
Update Software is currently
redesigning the Oxford Inspires website, which will include an event planning
diary for organisers of festivals and special events during Oxfordshire
2007. Later in the year, a dedicated website for Oxfordshire 2007, celebrating
a thousand years of Oxfordshire, will go online, where visitors will be
able to access information on the many events that will take place during
this special year.
Oxford Inspires marketing director
Cath Nightingale said: "We are delighted to have Update Software
join us as a corporate member. We enjoyed an excellent working relationship
with the company last year and look forward to developing this through
the networking, publicity and cultural opportunities that corporate membership
provides."
Mark Starr, managing director
of Update Software said today: "While much of our work is international,
we are based in Oxford and proud to play a part in its uniquely concentrated
and varied cultural activity. We are really looking forward to contributing
to the dialogue between business and the arts that is so important to
the county’s quality of life and to forming new partnerships with
others in Oxfordshire."
