MINI Plant Oxford Supports Film and Dance

This year Dancin’ Oxford kicks off on February 16th at MINI Plant Oxford. Guests will be invited to watch the premier of a dance and film piece, inspired by the MINI Plant and specifically created for the launch by choreographer Cecilia Macfarlane, film maker Roly Carline and OFVM Film Oxford. The piece, which took its inspiration from the many hundreds of robots that operate in the factory’s bodyshop facility, demonstrates the ways in which manufacturing and machines can stimulate the imagination and provide great sources of creativity.
On the night, to celebrate the launch of the dance festival there will be two other short dance works performed by highly talented Oxford dancers.
