Planet Dinosaur
A herd of Spinosaurus skeletons is taking over Oxford University Museum of Natural History! In collaboration with the BBC’s exciting new TV programme Planet Dinosaur, the Museum is offering a fascinating and fun opportunity for families to discover more about dinosaurs.
Families will have the chance to build a Spinosaurus skeleton with models created by the BBC in a unique, one-off event that will explore the exciting new evidence about dinosaurs featured in the BBC’s Planet Dinosaur.
This event will run from Monday 21st November until Sunday 27th November. From Monday to Friday, the event is open from 3.45pm – 4.45pm, so families can participate after school hours. At the weekend it will run from 10am until 4pm, where timed tickets will be issued and there will also be a variety of dinosaur related crafts and activities to add to the excitement! This is a free event, and open to all the family – though please note that some activities may not be suitable for under-7s.
