OYAP Trust named Arts Award Regional Lead Training agency for the South East
OYAP Trust has been training and delivering the arts award since it began 5 years ago, and from April 2011 they will officially be the Regional Lead Training Agency for Arts Awards in the South East.
Helen Le Brocq, Director of OYAP Trust says, "It is a real honour to be asked to be Regional Lead Training Agency in 2011. We have been passionate advocates for the Arts Award over the last 5 years and it is an integral part of our work at OYAP Trust. We are looking forward to working with Arts Award training agencies and trainers to promote and support the award across the South East region"

Arts Award is a national qualification and accredited framework for young people to develop as artists and arts leaders. The Arts Award mission is to support young people who want to deepen their engagement with the arts, build creative and leadership skills and to achieve a national qualification. Through Arts Award at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels, young people aged 11-25 can explore any of the art forms including performing arts, visual arts, literature, media and multimedia.
