We would like to tell you about the following opportunities for Artists:

1. Empty Shop Available to Artists
33-35 George Street, ex-Garden Images
The above property is currently vacant and Oxford City Council is offering artists the opportunity to use the space for a maximum of four week periods, subject to the property not being commercially let. The space can be primarily used for display-only exhibitions and there is no charge for this. The property can be open to the public for a temporary period, subject to public liability insurance in place and it should be noted that the shop is not connected to electricity, so a generator would be required. The fee to open to the public is £150. Artists/organisations would have to sign a license agreement outlying these terms and conditions. The property is available now.

2. Studios available at Magdalen Road Studios
Magdalen Road Studios are the largest studio complex in Oxford occupying two buildings with 23 studios.They are run co-operatively and have a good track record of exhibitions with strong links in Europe. They welcome applications from video and installation artists, painters, sculptors and photographers. There are two studios to rent.
