New Service 'Location Oxfordshire' Up and Running
Location Oxfordshire is a new service that has been set up to support the film, TV and photographic industries. Through their new website, anyone wishing to film in the Oxfordshire area can access information and advice on a range of important topics. Find out how to apply for filming permits, who to contact if you want to film on council or university property and what types of film friendly services are available in the area. Furthermore, the website also offers a growing database of suitable film locations, and lists sites such as parks, airports, houses, empty buildings, colleges, museums and much, much more.
Location Oxfordshire is funded by Oxfordshire Economic Partnership, Oxfordshire County Council and Oxford City council. The office is run by Film Oxford, a publicly funded 'not for profit' organisation, whose aim is to make film accessible to all whilst supporting both emerging talent and the industry.
