Behind Closed Doors: Christ Church Treasures Revealed
A rare opportunity to explore Christ Church's hidden spaces and discover many of the extraordinary treasures that lie behind its closed doors.
A variety of intriguing doorways punctuate Christ Church’s historic buildings and boundaries but what lies behind them and where do they lead? On Thursday 20 October a small number of visitors will find out the answers to these questions, and many more, when they spend the day visiting locations not normally accessible to members of the public, viewing carefully selected treasures and meeting the experts who care for them.
In addition to the exciting schedule of talks and tours planned, attendees will enjoy lunch at High Table in our Tudor Hall, receive a copy of the new guidebook and have the option of joining Christ Church staff for drinks in the Buttery Bar before listening to the world famous Christ Church Cathedral Choir at Evensong.
