Kathelene manages Oxford Inspires’ fundraising, marketing and communications programmes and leads on developing relationships with the private sector. Her background in fundraising and special events includes working as Development Officer, Annual Giving, for the McNay Art Museum in San Antonio, Texas, and as Special Events Coordinator for the San Antonio Museum of Art and in corporate sales and events management.

Jacqui leads our work in providing advice and support to arts organisations, coordinating conferences and events and strengthening partnerships between organisations and schools in the county. She worked for the English National Opera and the Royal Shakespeare Company before becoming Producer of The Bridewell Theatre in London in 1995. Before joining Oxford Inspires she was Director of Camberwell Arts Festival which specialises in Visual and Community Arts.

Sarah supports our fundraising and marketing work and is responsible for administering the Corporate Members programme as well as providing the first point of public contact with Oxford Inspires for many people. Sarah graduated from the University of Reading, where she studied History of Art and Architecture.

Terry is responsible for accounting and financial administration and works part time. Previous financial positions have been in practise, industry, the Health Service, local government and higher education.

Tony Stratton, Chair
Tony Stratton is Chairman of CPM, Europe's leading sales development agency. He is also Chairman of Tonic Life Communications PR and The Quantic Group and a non-executive director of RT Marketing, Unisono Field Marketing in China and The Smollan Group in South Africa, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a past President of Thame Show. He has lived in Oxfordshire since 1975.


Richard Munro
Richard is the Head of Community Services, Oxfordshire County Council. Before coming to Oxfordshire he managed libraries, arts and museums in Manchester, London and Coventry.

Helen Morton
Helen is a senior manager experienced in the commercial, voluntary and educational sectors, with particular skills in financial management, administration systems, developing and implementing strategic plans, personnel, health and safety, building projects and team management. She is currently Treasurer of Somerville College, Oxford.

John Hoy
John Hoy is the Chief Executive of Blenheim Palace and of the Marlborough Trusts. John has been at Blenheim Palace since early 2003 and a lot of changes have been undertaken since his arrival in order to refresh the business and the Estate. Before arriving at Blenheim Palace, John worked for The Tussaud’s Group at Warwick Castle and at Madame Tussaud’s in London and prior to that he had 13 years running the Knebworth Estate in Hertfordshire and 5 years working on the Goodwood Estate in West Sussex. He is a Board Member of VisitEngland and also sits on the Oxfordshire Branch Committee for the Country Landowners Association and the Tourism & Commercial Development Committee for the Historic Houses Association.

Charles Holmes
Charles is The Chief Executive of the Oxfordshire based Four Pillars Hotel Group. He is also a Director of The Akkeron Hotel Group and the Deputy Chairman of the board of governors of Oxford and Cherwell Valley College. A long established hotelier he was formerly Managing Director of Malmaison Hotels and The Corus and Regal Hotel Group.

Stephen Dexter
Stephen Dexter was managing partner of Grant Thornton, Oxford for many years. He has also served on the boards of Oxford Brookes University, the John Radcliffe Hospital and Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. Currently he is chairman of the board of Abingdon and Witney College as well as being a director or equivalent of commercial and not for profit organisations.

David Edwards
David Edwards is Executive Director for Housing and Regeneration at Oxford City Council, which includes 8,000 social homes and an expanding development programme. He was HCA Director for the South East, the largest programme outside London, and English Partnerships Director for the South of England. He worked as Head of Regeneration, Land and Property in DCLG, and previously worked in the private sector including ten years as a Director at Arup, the international design and development consultancy. He is also on the group board of Paragon Community Housing Group and served on the group board of East Thames, where he chaired the development subsidiary which is the lead social housing partner for the 2012 Olympics Village.

Richard Rosser
Richard Rosser has been Managing Director of The in Oxford Group for ten years and publishes local titles such as In Oxford Magazine, B4 Business Magazine and The Oxfordshire Restaurant Guide.

B4 Magazine is expanding with the launch of B4 Berkshire in January 2012 and launches in other counties in 2012.

Martin Tugwell
Martin Tugwell heads up the County Council’s work in support of sustainable economic growth. In this he builds upon his considerable experience of strategic plan making and infrastructure planning gained at regional and national level.


John Hobart
John Hobart is the Manager of the Renaissance programme for the Oxford ASPIRE museums consortium, consisting of the four Oxford University Museums and the Oxfordshire County Council Museums Service. In this role he promotes public access to the museums and their collections, especially from young people, non-traditional audiences and tourists.
