Cowley Road Carnival 2010: Magnificent Machines Wanted!
Tied in with the theme of Invention this year, there is going to be a Wacky Races inspired procession at 12pm to kick off Carnival on the Cowley Road! Need to promote your group or business? Fancy doing a spot of team building? Or just want to have a great big laugh with your mates?
Now's your chance - your community group, school, college or business can sponsor or create a Magnificent Machine! It must be able to carry at least one team member in the procession up the Cowley Road. Easy! The competition is open to everyone. Machines will be judged and prizes awarded. This is your opportunity to have a great day and participate in Oxfordshire's largest community arts event!
